Christmas : a journey to our heart

Christmas is over ... but what do we get from the season ? well for me, this christmas is kinda different. Having thought that something might be wrong with how we usually celebrate christmas, I browsed on internet to find some information about christmas itself. I found some articles related to this ... but they just made me feel worse :(. I terribly found out that apparently Christmas tradition we have now was picked up from some tradition thousand years ago used by Babilons. The way they worshipped their GODS just so similar with what we do now.

I don't think that this might be an appropriate way to praise our Lord, since Jesus once said that GOD never wants to be praised just like mamons (GODS of Babilons'). Moreover, it is said that GOD is the holy spirit that you should praise HIM in spirit and truth. These were really confusing. So many questions were thrown out .. conflicts grew within my soul .... "Does this mean that we've never actually praise GOD ?" ... "What should I do now ?" ... Even for a while I felt that I lost my faith in church :(. "WHAT IS CHRISTMAS ??"

But then I tried to go back 2 thousand years ago, where Jesus was born. According to the Holy Bible, Jesus was born in Bethlehem .. on a very quiet night. No one even knew that The King was born except Joseph and Mary. Jesus was really born with tranquility ... He wasn't born like a prince, who would be adored and praised by the whole nations. He chose to be unknown ..
** for what ? well, I think it's just simply because He's so humble ** He'd never want people to come and praise Him .. He'd just want people to have the tranquility and peace as He had .. which leads us to understand His greatness.

It is so obvious that if we want to experience the born of Jesus, we need to have peace in our heart. Looking for born Jesus in Christmas means looking Jesus inside our heart. Christmas tree, presents, christmas carols, sound of sleighbells become not important... We do not need that .. what we really need is that we can experience the born of Jesus inside our heart. Not that we can't have the celebration ... it's just not the most important part ....

So, I found out that "Christmas is a journey to my heart" ...
a journey to find the solution of our problems ...
a journey to find silence ...
a journey to find peace ...
a journey to find Jesus ...
Jesus really wants to born in our heart ... let's not resist His love ... Have a journey to your heart, and prepare a room for Him to born :)

Christmas is not about Christmas Tree ...
Not about cheerfull day ..
No matter what we do ... no matter how we praise ... just find Jesus in our heart on Christmas :).

Have yourself a merry little X-mas everybody ! :)

Christmas? Hm...as you know that actually nobody knows when Jesus was born, thus the Roman chose the date Dec 25 to celebrate His birthday. And now, yes, Christmas is not about the carols and tree and presents, but more, it's about joy, and giving, and love. As God gave His son as the proof of His love, so, we are giving the presents to others as a symbol to show how we love them, or, to bring the love of God to them. I keep losing my Christmas too, but as long as I know I could bring others a bit of joy, I will be satisfied. And that's Christmas. To understand how God loves us very much, and how to give others the love....
